Programme Modules

14 modules, covering the essentials that you need to become a Neuroscience Empowered Coach

Brain Cells and Regions

In this module, you’ll learn about brain cells, synapses and 9 different brain regions which underpin the way people think, behave and feel. You’ll discover what each region does, how regions work together to create brain networks, and be quizzed on your knowledge to make sure you have learned the information to a high level.

The brain regions covered include:

  • Prefrontal cortex

  • Basal Ganglia
  • Striatum
  • Nucleus Accumbens
  • Insula
  • Hippocampus
  • Cerebellum
Brain Chemicals

In this module you’ll learn about 7 different brain chemicals which underpin the way people think, behave and feel. You’ll discover what each brain chemical does, where they are located in the brain, how they work together and be quizzed on your knowledge to make sure you have learned the information to a high level.

Praise for our Neuroscience for Coaches Program

Amy has a lovely genuine approach; she was a joy to work with. Amy has a great passion about her subject and her enthusiasm to share her knowledge is very apparent. She had a very relaxed, practical and down to earth approach. It comes across very clearly that Amy’s intent is to increase our understanding of how our brain works and give us a very practical approach to apply the learning and get the best from ourselves.

Claire Bain

Association for Coaching

The written module overviews at the start of each module are particularly helpful, specifically the “why it matters” bit. It helped me focus my attention in a more pragmatic way when working through. The core takeaway pages are also a really useful addition to embed learning as are the coaching reflections sheets at the end of each module.

Caroline Sargent

Bounce Coaching and Development

As a coach, I was really interested to learn more about how our brains work.  This programme was brilliant at helping me do that and so much more.  The content is clear and accessible, breaking down what can be a complex subject into manageable chunks that you can immediately start to integrate into your practice.  The structure of the programme encourages you to reflect on your own practice and helps embed theory into practical application.  The content includes reflections for you, as a coach, but also tools that you can use with your clients, including video content.  Being able to share these with my clients was really powerful in helping them not only understand their brains more but also helped reframe their thinking.
